Spring Break means more time to read!! I finished a short audio story Swim, a cozy series Cat Who Moved a Mountain, and a chic lit Friday Night Knitting Club. All worth while reads~

Great read suggested by one of my guy students. Very unique setting, dystopian read with a male main character and thought provoking with a little love connection on the side. Good stuff!
I read this because it is read in the 8th grade here at Blan. It is a quick read about an interesting topic- censorship, discipline and how things get out of control quickly. It was a fast read but a little dated in language.
Our book club is reading this in conjunction with The Hunger Games to discuss the similarities in theme. I've not read it before and we teach it at the high school. Quick and interesting classic read.
Amazing perfection. I can't say enough about this book. My local library book club chose it for this month's selection and I finished it in days; I was mesmerized by Morgenstern's FIRST book. What an imaginative masterpiece. We just got this book in our library.

Mrs. lovinI started teaching English and Spanish at Blancester in 1996. After getting my masters in Library Science, I moved into the library and I've enjoyed connecting people to books ever since! Archives
